GETTING TO HONOLULU

GETTING FROM DANIEL K. INOUYE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO ALA MOANA HOTEL

By Bus
You can take the bus (officially known as TheBus) from the Honolulu airport to Waikiki Beach or practically anywhere on the island. TheBus is the official transit service of Oahu. Buses run regularly through Honolulu and around the island, and the fare is $2.50, which includes a free transfer within a limited time window (ask for this when you board and pay your fare).

Fares to Honolulu are approximately $30.

By Ride Share
The cost for an Uber is approximately $20.

Car Rentals –Six rental car companies, Advantage, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National are located on airport.  Four others provide off-airport car rentals.  Registration counters are located in the Baggage Claim area. On airport rental car offices are located on the ground level of the Terminal 2 Parking Garage.
