Howdy There!

On behalf of the 2025 Cryogenic Engineering Conference (CEC) and International Cryogenic Materials Conference (ICMC) Boards, it is our distinct pleasure and honor to invite you to attend the 26th joint CEC/ICMC, which will be held May 18 – 22, 2025 in Reno, Nevada’s third largest municipality, situated less than an hour from the resorts at Lake Tahoe. The conference will be held at the Peppermill Reno Resort, Reno’s premier AAA four diamond resort.

Come and experience a diverse range of cryogenic-related topics that are the foundation of the conference, ranging from basic cryogenic material properties to large-scale applications. Seize the opportunity to meet colleagues, scientists and engineers from research and industry, to share ideas and experiences and to develop collaborations in Reno’s new environment. The technical program will feature the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all areas of cryogenics, including hydrogen technologies, cryocoolers, cryogenic material properties, superconductivity, as well as transportation, space, medical, magnet and other applications.

Reno is home to top attractions like the Nevada Museum of Art, The National Automobile Museum, the largest outdoor climbing wall, and a ½-mile, snowmelt-driven kayak park right in the heart of downtown. Your thirst will be quenched, and your taste buds satisfied with the region’s budding brewpub and culinary scene. For those who enjoy the thrill, the Conference Resort has an award-winning spa and comprehensive casino and race & sports book. Travel to nearby Lake Tahoe for further relaxation and to experience the breathtaking views of one of North America’s largest lakes surrounded by snowcapped mountains.

We look forward to seeing you in Reno in May 2025!
