Welcome to CEC/ICMC 2017!
On behalf of the organizers of the 2017 Cryogenic Engineering Conference and International Cryogenic Materials Conference, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend this 21st joint CEC/ICMC. The conferences are returning to the Monona Terrace in Madison Wisconsin. Nestled between lakes Monona and Mendota, Madison is renowned for its beautiful four-season scenery, five area lakes, over 260 parks and over 200 miles of shared-use trails and paths. Greater Madison is an energetic metropolis with approximately 500,000 residents and plenty of public transit, including green options like hybrid buses and cabs. Madison plays host to stimulating cultural offerings, distinctive restaurants excellent music venues, and unique shopping. A true college town, the intellectual offerings of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and surrounding schools attract scholars from around the world.
The technical program of the conferences will, as usual, feature the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all cryogenics areas, including superconductivity, cryocoolers, cryogenic materials, and applications. Madison provides an exciting and relaxing backdrop for discussing the latest cryogenics results, sharing experience, and planning future collaborations and projects.
Please mark your calendars and plan to join us at CEC/ICMC 2017. We hope to see you there.
